Mr Eduard Pudel
MBBS FRACS
Ear, Nose, Throat, Head & Neck Surgeon
I live locally in Brighton with my wife, Alla, and three beautiful children. I started my private practice in Brighton in 2008 after spending a Fellowship year in Ireland. This was a year of experience and adventure, following arduous years of medical school, surgical training and specialisation between 1993 and 2007. Prior to that I have finished McKinnon Secondary College (1993), where I met my future wife. My family and I arrived to Melbourne in 1989 in search of a better life. I was born in 1975 in a small Ukrainian town Shargorod in the former Soviet Union.
Latest Academic involvement
I enjoy providing a broad range of ENT services with particular interest in Paediatric ENT, Rhinology including Rhinoplasty and Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. After achieving Fellowship in OHNS Advanced Training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Melbourne, Australia, I traveled to Ireland for the whole year of 2007. There I was employed at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland as well as Beaumont Hospital in Dublin. I have completed my post-Fellowship year specialising in Head and Neck tumour surgery. Since 2008, apart from working in a very busy private practice I have been on staff at two major hospitals: Monash Cancer Centre and Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. I have undertaken extensive training in Paediatric ENT, rhinology (including rhinoplasty) and snoring surgeries and take pride in regularly updating my qualification by participating in different courses, symposiums and training seminars. I have been a part of ENT surgical missions to Fiji on behalf of Israel and am also a presenter at the Dental Sleep Institute.
